Will gov.Kuol manyang succeed in Jonglei security?

marialmabior 2 posts Feb 19, 2008 3:49 PM	Insecurity has been a big issue in Jonglei and was blamed on the incapability of the former governer Thon Leek. Now that His excellency Kuol is our new governer and has prioritize solving insecurity within Jonglei. Do you think he will make any difference with the former governer in achieving security? marialmabior 3 posts Feb 21, 2008 3:32 PM	Manyok, I think that our current governor is far much better and experienced in achieving security in Jonglei than the former one. Look the recent steps he took like meeting with Equatorian governor to discuss peace as well as succeed in asking soldiers from Pres. Kiir to disarm Murle. Because of these few steps he took in a very short time i think he will restore law and order in Jonglei. Let's wait and see but i think Jonglei will no longer be a free war zone for barbaric acts by enemies of peace and unity. Thanks, Marial.
Happy9 1 post Jan 17, 2009 11:01 PM	We are all aware that governer Koul Manyang has the priority of fighting insecurity in Jonglie. But he can,t by himself we as citizens must together with him inorder to make our state a peaceful and secure place to live in. So I think too governer Manyang is much better than the former governer. Thanks Happy9
PNhiany 2 posts Mar 11, 2009 12:20 AM	Dear brothers and sisters, as we all know Mr. Governor Kuol Manyang is SPLA/M war hero who does not takes nonsense. I absolutely agree with my colleagure Mr. Manyok Achiek. Mr. Governor Manyang will make a tremendous amount changes in Jonglei State in term of narrowing down high concern of insecurity. He knows many ways to trap the rat, and will hunts down thos rats. The biggest threat now in Jonglei State is Murle raiding and children abduction. Mr. Ismail must be questioned why is it taking him so long to disarm his people and Mallitias? Otherwise Mr. Governor Kuol is more than capable to get the job done right and effectively.
