Message to the governors of the Jong-kulei-Bor about “insecurity” between Bor-highway to Juba road…. It seemingly there is a lack of security on Bor-areas that became a big problem as we hear every now & than. We will send private message to governors of Jong-kulei-Bor to see this problem in critically. We don’t need to hear people dying everyday special civilians, as it soundless! So, they will face a lot questionable, why only people of Bor disarmed to layout their materials protection at this time?
Board of Baai-Bor and Message will be release soon!

it's has been a long time from now since the CPA was signed and the life of the people get worse every single day. and our leaders who suppose to do more about the good living for every one in their dwelling have just do care for their own good. am very thankful for those who raised this question, because it's very important to let those whose set there listening nothing with their heart away from the well being of people to be protected in all kind. but there is one thing that i may say. our leadre are there to fullfil their own good rather than to do the wills of their people who let them to be a leaders. i think the leadership in southern sudan is totally different from what we learning here in western country. the leadership always pay attention to it people and inquiry or suggestion. but they are there cover their ears and eyes not to see things yet. however i think there are many things we always talk about that are make sense when you thougth about them. they rather need to analysize how system work and what are the primary need to be done first. because our leader think that everything should come at once and they don't think a head of time to solve primary issues that affecting people mutually. for instance in any where you go security is a primary in any human aspect of life with the implement of law and duties. there are many laws in southern sudan from the federal level to the state levels but they are malfunction because of nobody look care about them of course when they do, there will be no big mouth feed that why i think?. there is no single room for southern Sudan entirely do care for the civilians and how to protect them. because everything just do time and gain.

Hello Kush Lual & the rest:
You absolutely right for your idealisms you provided and we are on the way to framing a letter to governors of Bor or Jong-kulei-Bor, why our people dying everyday? The lack of security on Bor-highway to Juba road is became a horrific thing on the top of the news in Southern-Sudan.
Besides, all points why only people of Bor resident disarmed in the whole Southern and why not every community should disarm? If the governors failed or not failed to do a job we wants to hear from them too. There are so many looters roaming in the bush attacking civilian’s everyday. We heard that as a main road running from Bor to Juba is closed, because there are hostile groups who hide in the busy stopping the cars and call people out and kill them. Even, if the GOSS is not concern to keep the lives of civilians safe in Bor areas, why not governors of Bor take care about the cases? Or there are no people in State right now called governors?
So, whoever has a little idea you can e-mailed to the “Board of Bor” in Chicago, IL U.S. If you eagerly for answer or questionable directly to the Board of Bor on our web-site with full name, wherever you are and submitted on the web page. Some time we do not considering the name you using on our discussion page as a real person in the community! But we do!
N/B> The Board of Baai who hosting the web-page and care for the community check them on the web-page for any questioning! Thank, is a Member of Bor, who submitted is called Manyok!

The insecurity in the Bor to Juba Roads is government responsibilty and is not the responsibility of one particular tribe in the South Sudan. But the government need to know about latest on the root cause of the road insecurity and according to my knowledge government is queite aware about the cause of the insecurity and who is behind the instability.
Why? The Dinka Bor and Mundari are still owning unlicensed weapons and the government had been just looking at them like SPLM/A battallion and we do not know why the civillian cannot be disarmed and reintegrated into the civil normal life than to live like militias or soldiers.
The Governor of Jonglei and Central Equatoria State are all Soldiers and they are respected by their own community why do we think the problem cannot be resolve if the government is serious?
My observation is that every governor is protecting his community and in this way you cannot get solution to the problem. What we need is to stopp civillian from using weapon and the insecurity will be minimized.
This is very interesting story and people need to handle it with care
Cheers,
Aguer Deng

am glade for the points that you guy points out because my ideals were seem liberal.in the meantime we need to understand something which should support/our points of view. it will be interesting when we make strong points include those who has facing everyday situation concerned insecurity. but it need time gathering strong backup proof with people who living that stragic. and the reason i said that is'' we always observed things imperical on the good of the people and it seem to me sometime our own people don't even think of themselves to claim what should be good for them. but if things happened sometime and people don't feel to stand for their right. and also our government have no good rapport with us sometime because they seem us like we are "big mouth" that we do talk about things we don't experience. that in other word what we said is base on perception without experience they said?

Dear all:
The Lack of Security in Borland or Jong-kulei-Bor {State in South-Sudan} became displeasure in more than two-years, since the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed by the Sudanese in 2005. The citizens of Bor particularly are suffering every now and than through the enemies of unhappiness of peace. It is annoying to let a few civilians undergo, while there is no war at this moment in the country. If the Government of South-Sudan does not takes care of the security in all borders, why not people of Bor state take care from those catastrophes on ways. It is so kindest to the GoSS & the Government of the Jong-Kulei {Bor} to open their eyes and safe their own citizens, instead to think for others to come across and safe the live of civilians within the State or between the boundaries of state.
It is also soundless to hear every single day people are kill on the roads from enemies of hopeless loot same time cattle’s, who always roaming in the bushes. Evenly, before the war ongoing the citizens have not faced such difficulties of lifeless or harmless in every single month in South-Sudan as people dying simple. So, do we know such realties of cause of the death of particular people of Bor civilians in all routes in South-Sudan roads like Juba road? Especial Bor main road to Juba road it became as disastrously as a killing point. Is this problematic blame to who? Alternatively, it is a dispraised from the GoSS or State Governors of the Jong-Kulei {Bor} of irresponsibility has to say!
Why people keeping silently, while the civilians dying on way in every single day? However, there is authority that can put the security, whenever it needed. Since, we heard that a people of Bor were disarmed, while the others are not. The government need to implement security in every corner of the roads and around the community to protect the children and women, if is good idea to disarm the rest? If such disarm is a nice decision in the Government, if is not poor decision implementer at this time. Since, even we all knew that the Bor was a battlefield of war, instead to keep their own materials to protect themselves from enemies of peace. Therefore, we cannot rush like that and disarming them, while place it called a main score of the matters of the war. It soundly against the law to others in South-Sudan, when we heard as like Mr. Riek M. Teny said a few days ago that people of Bor should disarm or Jong-Kulei, while the others are not disarmed after up to now?
So, there is a law saying that you can disarm the others and leave the others with open hand materials? Even, if in civilizing worlds you have right to carry your own material with license to protect yourself. Nevertheless, the GoSS have not reached such procedures to disarming the rest too and left some without disarming them. I think is a good decision from the government who made such poorest decision to disarm the rest and leave some without. If, is truly decision we should let them stay with their material weapons until everything is clear up, like referendum to succeeds in (20011). Because no one knows we will be back to war at any time or any zero hours, if our boundaries of peace does not implementing by Unity Government of Sudan (UGOS) in 20011. Therefore, it is not enthusiasm thing to disarm civilians, while we are not reaching the melting point of struggling.
Therefore, our main point is to write a letter to the Governors of the Jong-kulei (Bor) or GoSS, why people dying everyday? If, is a lack of security in Bor-road to Juba road is became a horrific thing on the top of the news in Southern-Sudan, why not GoSS to take care about it? Why the civilians are dying even the war is end off in two-years from now. It is really disaster why not the government of Southern does not settle such randomly death from people and put security within the communities, who have a problematic. It does not make sensible that if you are on the charge now you cannot involve to solving the inner cases between the communities around you. I think is a good idea we should not live like that in the land of the Southern-Sudan!
What is wrong with “Mundurian and Murlee” still attacking other at home and even on the ways? Is that a good idea to we should keep silently without talk? It seemingly like another war within the communities, if there is not unification so far in such work. In addition, why people aiming toward settle communities in way to disarm them, while the unknown location communities are not even disarmed. There is no law ratifying things like that to disarm others and leave others with out disarmed. However, the true is to keep weapons is better way, because we have along river to across ahead of us.
That is harmless toward Bor citizens to disarm in the Southern at moment and local communities are not disarmed. If the governors failed or not failed to do a job, so we would like to hear from them. There are so many looters roaming in the bushes attacking civilian’s everyday. We heard that a main road running from Bor to Juba is close, because there are hostile groups who hiding in the bush stop the cars, call people out, and kill them. Therefore, it is immorality to hear everyday people are kill on the way is better; there is nothing so-called-GoSS!

We are well informed about what is exactly wrong in our community today and on going violent. But our own brothers and sisters hasn't want to let things change. Today I read the articles about the girl abduction from Adol by one guy his named unmentioned from paleei/padiak cause serious injuries (four young men). And last month there was another incident happened left a young men from Ater clan die and others injuries, between protect against police sanction concerned tradition dance without warning. Because, of unmentioned sanction made by local police. If these things keeps happen what should be done to remodel this community of ours?

Hello Kush,
Thank to let us know these problems in Great Bor. I heard about these in a few days ago through the verbal communication in South-Sudan all are true. However, these are irrationalities from the Governors of Jong-Kulei (Bor) to take care about their citizens.

Good morning Manyok!
Each of us in abroad has the same views that Bor, in the midst of tribal enemies, shouldn't have been disarmed first. I am glad you took courageous step and stand in organizing Bor citizens to think about the looming insecurity our fathers and mothers are facing now in Bor.
I have stated here few months ago that Bor's usual silence over the grave matters wouldn't do any good other than disaster itself. I absolutely agree with you that it is the time for Bor people to wake up for the security of its citizens.
You know some of us in abroad have lost their limbs during the spla, and the fact that Philip is not doing enough to shield the few victims left after the 1991 massarce remind that he is not qualified to lead the State.
I know what Thon have in mind, but the important thing for him and us first is to provide the secuity to our people back home.
Finally, our state, Jonglei needs decent cooperation with Governor Thon so that our citizens not-from Bor alone are well protected so that they can enjoy the same peace like any other citizens within the south.

Dear Mading Majok,
You said all bro. I have no room in my heart to forgive the enemies of peace to kill the civilians at this time, while the chronic war is end off in Sudan. This is a wrong idealist to repeat same massacre of 1991-1992 in Borland. I don’t think is a good decision from governors of Jong-Kulei to accept such false-hood of disarming in particular in Bor area, while the others are not lay-down their protection materials. Evenly, un-relocated communities are not disarmed and they are still attacking civilians on the ways. We heard these kinds of horrific news everyday people are killing on the ways especially Bor citizens. Are these people of Bor having no right to deserve a freedom of right in Sudan?
I have never come across a word saying that, if you looking for peace you should not defend yourself. If someone encircle around to kill you then you stand by and calling for peace, while you are killing. So, we called the violation of law and feeble in other way. I have a great day and greet us our brothers and sisters in Germany. Thank a lot these are nice points!

Dears Baaibor boards and the rests. It is crucial to raise that topic,on our side as Jongulei state we are not actually getting the sweeter fruit of the CPA since it was signed, hence its our leaders to make stable security of Jongulei state and it be they youth vioces to scream for it to be put in place. All in all Jongulei had so many opponents who are basically praying hard and harder for Jongulei to be the last in participations of SPLA/M as they our world lasted as Garang gone YOUNG16th in Kampala KIU campus

Dear Young 16th Ajak de Bul,
You are right bro! How are you doing in Kampala KIU with your sisters and brothers over there? Hope you all doing fine as we do in exile. Well, this problematic is exhausted every sons and daughters of Bor across the world the death of our civilians in Bor edges: - started from (Chuei-Keer South of Bor toward Chuei-Thon North of Bor) we need these few civilians to deserve right that they were fighting for in many decades like rest of communities in South-Sudan. What exposed them not to protection their shelter, or care? This conditionally of being exposing them to lay-down their materials to government, while the government does not care for them, is not a wrong ideology.
These problems are under-care of the Jong-Kulei state to serve their civilians without being block on ways by hostility-groups. Most of us citizens of Bor are furious about ongoing death of children and women. We always heard people are killing on ways in every single day, how we call this disastrous within the state. Maybe we called the lack moral enforcements or the less intelligence in our state governors! On the other hand, how do we address these kinds of death of civilians in our area?
Thank for message and greet us our bros and sists around you!

Witnessing first hand of insecurity in Bor has in fact mind-boggled many, and particularly some of us who have visited Bor Town this year of 2009. I was present at Bor from June and till the end of October. I wasn't visiting as many of us usually do but just wanted to experience Bor Town,Society and peoples with clear state of observations to its fullest since I didn't know more when I left My Village and Wut back in Decemember 1987. Many unpleasant incidents have happened like now Murle have advances into stealing children and killing people in broad day light in Bor Town,Nuer organized constant attacks against Hol,Twic East in the center of Bor leave alone enroute killings, and rampaged road ambushes but there wasn't no respond specfically from our so-called strong Bor leaders neither of self-defense nor reactions of willingness to do so. They aint victims but society where they came from just as Garang's hate is now directed against Bor. But which is the opposite on the other side of neigboring enemies.Bor wasn't sacrificed in Liberations for the few by whom individual can be minding business of the moment of individualistic prosperity and bickering over yet to be known obligatories which I don't think would renders physical fruitfuls to Bor Community and its Peoples or even South Sudan as a whole. People who suffered so much in the hands of their own brothers despite doing good are exhausted and left for themselves. Guess who are the victims? The Old remenants fathers and mothers whom the South Sudan Liberation had taken away their precious children. one moment to remember was when I ran into old woman who cried bitterly after seeing me since We left with her only three-sons confiscated two-decade ago.No compensations to Bor common peoples in whatsoever either in form of services delivery like roads, subsidized food and living standards, health care or through weak persons of concerns such as of mentioned instances who had loss so much in the struggles and nobody left with to take care of them at the old-age, had become the lost of ones' soul and end to his/her own World which eventually lead to this disgrace the very grievancies people fought for. What still rings in peoples' minds is pride of had and had nots of Bor Society which was only illegitimate wealth of grabbed. We are legal children of Bor who in the same footage can blame mismangement of county resources and developments plus its dreadful insecurity situations. Fingers had to be pointed into right directions superficially to our own leaders.Kuol Manyang,Bior Ajang,Jok Aring,Jok Riak,Deng Wek,Malual Ayom,Mach Paul Kuol,Wal Athieu,Majok Ayom,Makuei Lueth,Maker Thiong,Thon Leek,Mayen Ngor,Jurkuch Barach to mentioned few and many more I m unable to mention here have in fact disowned our community of Bor as put by an illiterace but consious-old man uncle Makuac that "the real Muonyjaeng-hearted Bor Man has yet to be born". Bor insecurity is so intenses that ordinary civilians are scared and do not know what to do and to make it worse they knew we got power but reluctant to use against an enemy people don't know is real enemy: the youngs, women and the olden are left in the villages where there are no strong youth to depends them Once known prominent villages' sections have been evacuated and re-located to Nile Bank settlements.I asked recently inauguarated County commissioner about number of police and he put it to 621. They are mixed police men from different counties they are of Murle,Mandari, and few young boys of Bor who once moved into town with their mothers during Run-de-ca-Pooth had once ran Omar Bashiir tickets, sabotaged and almost restrict South rebels gribs of power in Bor Town after CPA. In Bumas, there 're couple civilian-like Policemen whose their only best duties are day long drinking of locals and imported iquors and are unsupervised ones. They don't care about securing stolen kids, search for spotted murle bandits or go beyond Bor Town vicinity I don't think that forces don't depends old ones left home hungry, cultivating and keeping hopes of remaining in their ancestral homes. Youth who came from Uganda,Kenya,Ethiopia or other countries nearby usually stayed in Bor Town looking for jobs by which they don't even get because positions are already given to less educated nepotists of the Bor elites. Their lives are harder than ever before. The cultures had changed from bad to worst or maybe UN had created sense of people idleness. And only options left for them to do is playinng games of Dominos. The Police force have many none natives and More often Bor civilians could be killed in presence of them as it happened in Pariak few months back. Youth are dreaming of utopia state and are not even thinking about becoming guards of their own county and mind less about becoming an army or policeman. And which is dominated by Jonglei State Nuers of Panjack,Akobo, and Yirol yet they have their own counties. The only way we the youth of Bor in Diaspora to help is get back to our homeland so that we can unite and carry out what is needed for the developments of our society of Bor. One can live, enjoy and prospers anywhere in the World but remembers nothing better than your own land motherland

Very interesting you observed in Bor Freedom-Square. South-Sudan will not be rule by people who say we will see. Law is needed to be implementing. It is only thing will help the whole country at large.
Take care...
