 May you allow me to express my view about the forthcoming Christmas? On date 25 DECEMBER 2007 and the ongoing insecurity in Kakuma Refugee Camp.

The time is coming for us to be celebrating the historic birth of our Saviors and Lord Jesus Christ. I thankful my Lord on his great protection he provided for us since this long time ago and this year until we reached this month in His  power and Bless. May His Majesty and Grace be living among us forever Amen.

The time has come for us my dear brothers and sisters of God to prepare the Holy rooms of welcome the birth of our Savior to be sitting among us in Christmas days. May we stand and give our warmly welcome to our Lamb of light, Lamb of Sacrifice, Prince of peace, King of Kings and wonderful God with us. May your glory, Mighty and Kingdom will live among us forever Amen.

  LET US PRAY GOD ALSO TO PROTECT US IN KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP

 Our refugees and Christian congregations in Kakuma are in danger life and situation of frequent night attacks always by local Turkanas arming raiders for the aim of seeking wealth from refugee’s homes. When the night time comes, nobody hope to reach the dawn break due to the danger terrorizes and disturbing by looters and criminalizes at this time, while in the day time, the refugees were got themselves as alive. This aggravated situation were fills the refugees with despair to be stay in the camp, many refugees were left the camp to Southern Sudan without authorization from UNHCR offices of Repatriation programmed, these who were registered by UN Agency for December repatriation were blocked by the insecurity in Jonglei State. These shock, fears and terrorizes are needed all of us to asking God protection and safe climate for our so long suffering peoples.  "O our Father in Heaven, listen the voices of your suffering Congregations to give us help. Cover us with your powerful wings in this historic and deliverance birth of our lord Jesus Christ, your only dear and begotten Son whom you sent to the world as the lamb of peace and Sacrifice of your people. Our Father I am not able to reach your will because I am a mortal man, give us safe security in this camp to be celebrating with joy as other Christian in the world. I asking and requesting this in greatest name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ Amen.

 THE BEGINNING AND CAUSED OF INSECURITY

Since the establishment of Kakuma Refugee Camp in July 1992, by UNHCR and government of Kenya for the aim of settled the influx peoples who were fleeing their home’s countries for civil wars. The location of Kakuma is Northwestern Kenya in Rift Valley Province, Turkana District, and Kakuma Division. The camp was comprises with  outnumber of refugees from Kenyan neighboring countries of Ethiopia-Eritrean,  Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, Congolese, Rwandan, Burundi, among these refugees, the Sudanese are majority, followed by Somalia, and so on. The circumstances of stayed under these condition are not new since this long, Kenyan police and National Security are not shown a good signs of Natives to their raiders brothers to stop these atrocities of looting, killing the refugees until June 2003, The local arming Turkanas civilians were overran three-quarters of the Camp, but the report was sabotaged by Kenyan worker who were in UN office by changed the really charges of their raiders and presented the wrong reports to their Government in Nairobi.

On that time Our SPLM Office in Nairobi was heard well the ongoing crisis in the Camp, this was the time they went official to the Kenyan’s president office for further complained these refugees’ problems in the camp. When the Top Government was confirmed the full details from SPLM Officials, they sent the police and Security for quick intervention in kakuma discord until they repulsed the Turkanas raider out in the Camp. The Kenyan staff that was worked with UNHCR here in the Camp does not shown the truth to the Government in Nairobi for the aim of defending the name of their Government from world lawmakers blames. Our Sudanese Embassy and SPLM Mission in Nairobi, Kenyan were failed also to bring changed to the situation of Kakuma. The two diplomatic missions were sabotaged by Kenya Kakuma Police and National security who kept the reports and charges who were indicted against their local Turkana raiders by saying, that we never received this message from our Kakuma Offices of police and National Security.

These insecurity and instability were terrified our Southern Sudanese to go back homes soon, and that was why they registered themselves  last months for UNHCR Repatriation programmed who was blocked by the another insecurity in Jonglei state and Christmas time.  In the beginning of this the Camp has been visited by high-level delegation from the Government of South Sudan who were came to addressed the ongoing development in the South and assured the refugees and UNHCR also that we want our citizens to go back home to rejoin the rebuilding of our so long devastated and neglect region by Arab egocentric successive regimes in Khartoum. The staying of refugees in this camp were taken as the sources of Turkanas criminal’s people of Kenya. The going back of Sudanese refugees to their homes country was became great issues of always night attacks for further looting the properties by combination Turkanas arming forces.

 According to the refugees and victims observation, they said these who came at night for looting are not early Turkana civilians alone, they were joined by arming police and their local security. Because the early looters were taken what they found from houses among clothes, ration and other good things while these of today are different, when they entered the houses they intimidating the refugees by asked where the money, gold, diplomatic bags were kept? They started tortured the victims they captured with the cutting him with pangas and other were shot dead if there is no money or requirements items they are found. Our refugees are suffering as there is no eyes of Government, because when they call police and security to come for quick reuses, they never come soon until they expect the robbers are out, this is the time they come to investigate the blindfolded questions who have no signs of transforming of situation. All the youth now in the camp does not sleep at night, they stay awake until the morning time due to keep watch.

The Kenyan Raider were wrongly expected that refugees are most richest rather than them and that is why the above mentioned departments were involved in these killing, looting for the aim of acquires wealth from innocence’s refugees. The situation of kakuma Camp need Sudanese intervention report to the UN Office for the aim of rescues his citizens. "I have five days in Kakuma since I came from Nairobi after nine months stayed there, but the condition I got here is better for Sudanese Refugees to leaves this Camp for total suffering in Southern Sudan" NO government in Kakuma who will bring change for the security, while these safely unit were attached themselves with their arming civilians.
